@mwbonsall I played there once! Drove over two hours to get there, too.
I played a gig exactly like that about a month ago. That extension cord? Powered by a dinky little generator that managed to hang on somehow. Only thing missing is the puddles of water next to my pedalboard...

Was this a private party for a rich dude, in his garden? With a pretty big swimming pool? If so, I think you played the same gig I did!
No, lol, nothing about this gig could be associated with the word "rich".
This has always been a favorite of mine and have had it hanging in my music room for years. Not limited to bass but pretty close.....
Me too, and I had to move an ice machine, two broken chairs and a box of beer glasses off before I set up.
I asked the owner where to put the ice machine and he asked me if I really needed that much room.
(based on a true story)
