Bass Mods K6...Are they any good?

Seen a few of these around on eBay lately and just wondering if anyone out there has got one or played one and can tell me your thoughts on the quality.

I got to play a used one at my local guitar center a few months back. The action was perfectly low and the quality seemed incredible for the price. I had planned to save up to buy it but someone else got it before i had the money

I had this one for a while.

Great bass. Beautiful spalted, flamed maple top, slab ebony board, Bartolini pups, proprietary Bass Mods pre. Built like a tank! About as heavy as one too. That was my only complaint; the weight. If it had been a 5 string I'd still have it.

I have two of them. A five string and a 6 string. I really like them as they are worth a lot more than what I paid for them. Excellent construction and flexible tonal options.
