Bass Photography!

I darkened this up in iPhoto, to give it the patina it has acquired to this point...

Pictures were taken with an Olympus Camedia D-560, hand-held as I recall. I'm inspired by all of the great pictures in this post, and will start using the tripod, and timer suggestions.

Sixway, yes, start using a tripod.

It slows down the process of taking a photo, but the results are well worth it.

You'll notice much better composition, and no camera shake.

Was inspired by this thread... but my skills are limited by a a almost 3 year old point and shoot olympus 7.1 mega pixel cam..... this is the best one i could get where the focus was juuuussstt right.. enjoy

That's a beautiful piece of quilted Bubinga on the front. I'll try a a tripod and see if I can capture the three dimensional quality of the wood.

Was sending a couple of pictures to the guy who makes my thumbrests so I thought I'd add them in here as well. Nothing special, just quick shots really, but they do look pretty cool.

I like that they blend into the pickguard rather than stand out.
