Bass player appreciation thread

Hello all, I would like to start a [specific] bass player appreciation thread. Ideally, this would be in the basses section because most people who listen to this player, also get down with the bass/equipment. Where would the best place be for something like this? Any thoughts?

If you want to discuss the specific bass they play, the Basses forum is OK for that discussion.
