Has any thought ever been given to figuring out a way to set up bass player profiles here? An entire section where the whole world could sift through bass players if searching for one? Or just even to show people who we are and what we do?
Ideally, it would be something along the lines of what Myspace used to provide. A simple, single page that gives all the player details, with links for recordings, pics, and videos.
What better place on the internet to have such a resource!
I'd be willing to help out too, if help is needed in design, ideas, whatever...
It could also be a way for Talkbass to make more money, as it could be included in one of the upgraded memberships. Or for an additional, reasonable fee per year (like $20?). Keeping the cost super reasonable would help it to become much more of a valuable resource. The more people who sign on, the better. It could be separated by different criteria also...
