Well, I finally got my first tat yesterday!

It is the bass line to Led Zep's "How Many More Times". It's THE song that inspired me to learn how to play bass 11 years ago, so it's pretty meaningful to me. Here it is!

I've been planning for a long time to get the logo from a Gibson Thunderbird tattooed on my left arm, but haven't got around to it yet. I want to have it, with a band around the arm connecting it wingtip to wingtip, to match the band on my right arm.

Here' one I got in my misguided youth!
I designed it myself! (represents bass supporting treble...with the "3rd eye" in the middle"
A little faded after 25 years...might get it 'touched-up' since I'm already commited!

ataraxia your tattoo is badass, really nice shading and the idea is awesome. Definately qualifies as a bass tattoo! Here's mine, got it done when i was 17, its almost 3 years old now. Been playing bass since i was 12, and have since learned guitar and piano. I want to add to my tattoo eventually..
