Bass resolutions for the New Year?

I plan on continuing sight reading sheet music daily for 10 minutes or more which (I feel) has really helped my playing and understanding of music.
I've worked through the first 2 lesson plans of Jeff Berlin's sight reading courses and will start on package #3 shortly. I started bass in Jazz Band in High School but never read music for decades ever since, just playing by ear and feel in a band. Reading musical Etudes daily has really got me to think about efficient fingerings and thinking more about theory, the #2 lesson package works the circle of fifths and covers all the keys. I've never used so much of the fretboard before, up to and past the 16th fret.
Here's an sample Etude in A minor that I enjoyed playing, it may get you thinking more about fingerings. Give it a try if so inclined.
Good luck to all, consider reading some music if you don't

Great idea, I should check that out.

I’ve made many some resolutions but in the past life always got in the way.

One I’d like to really stick to is playing for an hour every single day. Heck, I'm retired so it’s not like I have no free time. Guess I should go play right now :roflmao:
I purposefully awake early (5AM-ish) to do this very thing. Nothing but a cup of coffee & study. No news or distractions from others to get in the way.
