Bass string throwdown

My faves are TI Flats - love the volume and low tension. Perfect on a P bass with an amp that has tons of headroom.

I also really dig LaBella 760s flats on my shorties, they feel a lot like my upright strings which I really like, but have great brassy highs for cutting thru the band.

I also dig the labella tape flats on my Rob Allens because they sound like upright strings. Not great for every situation due to the lack of highs, but great for Jazzy stuff where I am playing a very strict bass role.

And of course, I love TI Spirocore's on my upright for the growl.
