Bass with humbucker and a single coil?

So..
instead of my last 'bright' idea, which you all loved..(the Fender to Rick one..I wasn't thinking, I just wanted a Rick and Rick sound..but don't have the $).
I was wondering if anyone knows of any basses with either:
2 humbuckers with coil taps
or
1 humbucker with coil tap and 1 single coil bass
or a bass with 3 pickups that is still in production and has a very nice sound to it? also, I'm not looking to spend everything so I'm looking at less than $800..

The early 80's Carvin LB50 basses had 2 humbuckers each coil tappable and were also wired mono/stereo and a wood option was Koa. They turn up from time to time and are wonderful sounding and playing basses in that price range.

Warwick $$ standards, from their Asian line, new;
some Ernie Ball Musicman models, probably ebay for your price;
some Carvins, ebay for your price.

Lakland 55-02, used, ebay. I see two or three of those per week in that price range.

Schecter Raiden special has 2 passive humbuckers and coil taps. It's about $350. Schecter also makes a p-bass model with an additional humbucker in the bridge. I think the humbucker can be coil tapped on this one too. I have considered purchasing each of these.

Rogue also makes an active/passive bass with the exact pickup design that you are looking for. Don't know about the quality of these.

Have you thought about picking up an inexpensive used jazz, and modding it?
