I haven't plugged it into an amp yet. I have gigs Wednesday and Thursday night so I'll bring it, at least use it during sound check, but might not play it all night. I think I'm going to have to tweak the setup to my liking. We'll see. I tend to play aggressively sometimes and I noticed a couple of buzzes when I hit it hard. But I know we'll have a long-lasting relationship. ;)

That's a beautiful bass, love the neck and the black headstock. Geez, even the BACK of it is nicely done!!!

My custom shop Kiesel also buzzed pretty badly when I got it. A luthier friend of mine looked at it and opined that the nut may have been overcut since he couldn't get rid of the buzz with truss rod and bridge adjustments.
Of course, ordering the biggest, most jumbo frets offered didn't help a bit, I'm sure.
I have since had that bass defretted and a new nut was cut for that. Action is now super low with no issues.
Well, except that it always sounds more bassy than I like, even with the Kalium single coils. Running in passive mode helps some.

Looking forward to hearing how this one works for you.

Very nice! Almost all basses need a little TLC tweaking to meet our preferences. Play it in good health. I hope to see you wearing it in some pics in your next gig report!
