Dang, that looks good! If it came in a 4 with Geezers, and of course black for meI could be talked into snagging one of them!
Nice early Christmas!!

Hello friends,
Just a quick post to let you know that my long-awaited new bass arrived yesterday. It's beautiful. It's a pretty stock Fender-esque five string, ash body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, passive P/J pickups, and a tobacco burst finish that I really like. Pictures? Sure, I got pictures.

The gig bag is pretty nice. I'll use it for a while until I get another SKB case for it.

I haven't plugged it into an amp yet. I have gigs Wednesday and Thursday night so I'll bring it, at least use it during sound check, but might not play it all night. I think I'm going to have to tweak the setup to my liking. We'll see. I tend to play aggressively sometimes and I noticed a couple of buzzes when I hit it hard. But I know we'll have a long-lasting relationship.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
I've never touched a Kiesel. I did own an early 90s Carvin LB 70, oiled koa wood, active electronics, sperzel locking tuners. The bass was loaded with all the options and I got it for a steal. Made the mistake of selling it after I got married, which was a mistake too. It's been over 15 years since I last saw that bass and getting rid of it still haunts me. Might have to go buy a Kiesel someday to fill that void.Very nice! And good to see some Kiesel love around here. They are the most underrated basses out there. I wish more TB'ers knew what they were missing!

Looks great. I havent come across a lot of 5 string p basses. How does the B string sound on a p bass?
SpecialHappy NBD! That looks very nice indeed. When you have checked it out can you give us some sort of review on what you think of it? I hear they are very good but I've not been able to get my hands on one.
Nice looking bass! You've certainly earned it. What made you choose a PJ configuration? PS: I like PJs, I'm just curious.
Will ya play wagon wheel on it?
