very nice! a great looking ax, cliff! i agree with all the others re: the burst colors + the ebony. and that cut-away on the back of the body is nice for access to all the high notes --- cool beans! congratulations on your new instrument! 
IIRC, around 1992 I ordered a lefty, 5-string Carvin, LB75 with the electronics and woods and colors I wanted (natural). I still have it and have gigged with it five times this month.

Thanks for all the love! I haven't had a chance to really play it yet, between writing charts and shedding tunes for a couple of shows this week and my day job, but I've plinked a little, enough to know that this instrument will be a lot of fun.
Mine got her a little quicker than I thought it would. I think the website says ten to twelve weeks but it arrived in seven.
I've been playing my Carvin LB76 for almost twenty five years. It's been my main axe since I bought it. It's very versatile. With the P/J pickups I think the new one will be just as versatile.
I don't know where this one will fall in the order yet. Once I get it set up to my liking it may be my #1 with the LB76 as backup. I know this will be my #1 for my True Willie gig. That's the main reason I bought it. I wanted something more traditional looking but still versatile.
I may be able to find one or two here pretty soon. Wish me luck.
I don't think it will be a big adjustment for me. The spacing on the LB76 makes it difficult for me to slap, but I slap very little anyway. I did notice that it's a little easier to slap and pop on the new 5-string. So maybe with a little practice I can annoy all my friends and "Slappa da bass!"
I ordered it custom, built it from their bass builder website just how I wanted it. It's not fancy but elegant and useful. I got straplocks added too. I like those.
The PB5 neck is thinner, like a "C" neck, and the satin finish is sooo smooth. I'll be able to play my roots and fifths effortlessly! The LB76 neck is more of a "D" neck, a little thicker but not too much for my manly bass player stumps.
My LB76 is active and this PB5 is passive. I'll have to go out to the garage tonight and plug it into one of my amps. I have a luthier friend that I trust who does great work. If I can't tweak it to my liking I'm sure he can. It's not too far off, as long as I don't hit it too hard.

It’s beautiful! I just bought a Kiesel as well (a Vanquish 6). 
I still want a nice P-J bass at some point though. Congratulations, and I hope you get many years of fun with your new bass!

Yup, Carvin/Kiesel had me hooked a long time ago. My babies, JB5 and LB70 fretless.
