Basses still made in Korea?

Yep, the PRS Kestrel & Kingfisher basses are made @ WMI in South Korea.
Really nice instruments for the price. Neck through, high quality woods & hardware. I own one, and it's right up there in quality with my American PRS.

Yes, we are manufacturing in THREE countries now since the original post was made nearly 7 years ago!

Indonesia for SBMM and SUB, China for SUB, and Korea for SBMM.

Are there any American marketed basses that are currently building in Korea? I couldnt think of any, as they've all gone to Indonesia and China, it seems.

Unless things have changed in the last 2 years, you'll probably find the Gretsch Electromatic basses are still Korean.

Generally. I don't care for natural finish; however, I do like this one.. I loved my Kingfisher that was in the darker stain.

Sterling by Musicman - (not the SUBS) - Korean made, very high quality.

Both of my MTD Kingston basses are made in Korea. I believe they are still manufactured there.

I know that most of the current MTD line is made in China. Especially the Kingston Saratoga. I have a MIK Z5 and a Grendel made in the Czech Republic. They are both superb instruments, although the electronics are a bit weak. I don't have any experience with any of the made in China stuff yet.

Indeed they do, I love my ZX5 to death. I actually prefer its tone to most of the custom shop ones I've heard. Bit more beef on the low mids.
