Basses still made in Korea?

D'Angelico basses,are made in Korea. Quality,detailed bass guitars,I think they need more recognition on TB IMO. I love mine,blue burst chambered body.View attachment 3508563 View attachment 3508566

Dang that's pretty. I tried one of the D'Angelico Excel hollow body basses last year. It was a beautiful bass but I couldn't get past the neck dive and 32" scale. I really wanted to like it though...

My PRS SE Kestrel is Korean and it's a great instrument. It sat for about two months while I was focused on my Carvin fretless. Played it tonight at practice and it was completely in tune with itself (about a 1/4 step sharp though, probably due to the heat & humidity lately), and the action hasn't moved since I set it up a year ago.

Thank you,I am amazed at the detailing on the D'Angelico basses. I had another one of these,Cherry Burst,and the strap button was on the back at the heel,of the neck,and the body. This blue burst,has the the strap button on the upper body horn,and seems to eliminate the neck dive somewhat. At my age now,I always sit while playing now.
