Basses still made in Korea?

Wolf basses. They are made by KHL.Co out of S.Korea.
They are the original OEM product that gets re-branded as other brands.
Like HK,Woodo and Raven West.

My Danelectro DC basses were made in Korea(1990's-early 200's) Then, some genius decided to have Danelectro shift their manufacture to China! Reputation dive, anyone?? Thankfully Danelectro is back in Korea, so to speak. I've heard good things again. Guitars and basses for those who like it light and quirky.

Most people here forget that the company exists, but SCHECTER! However, their budget basses are still made in Indonesia

Yes, my Schecter Stilleto Vintage Bass was made in Indonesia and my Custom S-1 guitar (a Series or two up) was made in South Korea. Impressed with the quality, fit and finish on both, but could be talked into a pickup upgrade on the bass.

I remember all the beautiful Lakland Skyline 5501 and 5502 and Joe Osborne 5vers I bought were all made in Korea....Then some factory/workers dispute over working issues caused all Lakland production to move to Indonesia....I have to say I felt sorry for all those highly skilled craftsmen/women

CORT...I believe was the factory producing basses for Lakland/Ibanez/ G&L etc back then

Ever heard of Lakland? Dan Lakin co-founded that company. :D

Ooooo, lol. Well now I feel dumb, I dindnt know that.

Are there any American marketed basses that are currently building in Korea? I couldnt think of any, as they've all gone to Indonesia and China, it seems.

Thanks.

I have to assume you’re referring to 2019 new model year. A lot of responses have been about older model year basses.

For 2019 my recent Eastwood Backlund Rocker Box was made in Korea although I believe Eastwood is headquartered in Canada

Certain 2019 model Dean basses are still made in Korea, namely the Rhapsody 12 at the UN Sung factory. I believe all other Dean basses are now made in China other than the USA models.
