Why would you want a narrow spaced four string? ... this coming from a player not blessed with large hands or long fingers.
Also you might look at Warwick. I know their 5 string bridge has the ability to adjust the string width and I can't remember but I do not think the 4 string bridge is any different. The Corvette 5 which is a fine bass that can be generally had for a song has 16.5 mm spacing from the factory. The German five strings can be had all day long for under $700.
17-18mm feels so much better to me than 19mm
I have a Streling SUB that I would love to get a different bridge for and tighten up the spacing. Do any of the 4 string Rays have less than 18mm? Maybe the Sterlings as posted above?
