Greetings from the North,
A good brand may last about a set, but near the end they'll start to fade. But if you can arrange to have the stage lights to come up every once in a while during the set they'll recharge. A little experimenting and you'll get it right.

I'm not even sure if he's gonna start offering them as a standard option... so far only Adrian's had it on his bass - and he's a special client :D I really have no clue about the pricing, best if you PMed him.

Thanks for the heads up about Fretlord. I just looked at their website and the Glowdotz & Fiber Optic LED systems looked worth checking out. Relatively inexpensive too. It runs on 2 lithium batteries for about 12 hours. I wonder if dilithium would last longer,hmmm.....

Ah ha ha! How you be bmc? I went and checked out YES last night at the ACC. Hadn't seen them since 75 at the Forum. Awsome! I wanted to remember them the way they were,so I was somewhat hesitant about going. But it was a free ticket from an old buddy and had a great time. They even played Sweet Dreams.

Where did you see this? I have been thinking this is the key for a long time. I really don't want to spring for LEDs, although I might with my new Nordstrand. However, my R bass needs some help in pitch black. Darn need for a good light show!

Carey Nordstrand did my bass with fiberoptics- it looks much better than actual leds- the lights are sharp , bright and small- they run off a single led, inside the cavity, so it can be changed and the color will change to that of the single led--- i love it- had the bass for about a month now- 5-6 nights a week gigging- still going strong on the original 9 volt battery
