Basses you will own one day... but not yet

I have a couple I'd like to see in my collection. I think I am only missing one to make it complete. A 62 RI P-bass.

Other than that I have a hankering for something with a modern tone. Currently MTD tops that list, but I have not put a great deal of thought into it. I just love the tone and looks, but I've never played one.

I'd also love to see something in the way of a full sized hollow body, like a Gretsch.

So little time, so many basses. :p

fender deluxe precision special (that's my 1st target right now. even if it doesnt sound great, imma mod it so it does sound great)

a nice jazz bass made by fender (geddy lee and either 75' or 60's or pre cbs NOS.id welcome usa and cij jazz too)

a nice p bass made by fender lol (50's or something nice NOS)

burns bison bass (looks interesting)

pedulla rapture with soapbox(if i can make enuf earnings)

ric 4003 (if i can make enuf earnings)

lakland jo4(if i can make enuf earnings)

well these arent the basses but blah:

clavia nord wave synth

gibson es 335 (red one that glosses)

fender telecaster



i live in dreams so much lol

The two basses I would love to own:

MM Sterling 5er HH HS
Fender Jazz Deluxe 5 fretless, active, two octave neck

Have to wait 'til the companies actually decide to build these things. Then I could die a happy man!

hmm... the one bass - that rules them all!!! LOL...

Geez, these days if I want a bass I just buy it - which is why I added another Status and more the likely another Benavente to the quiver this week.
I'm getting married in about a month - I think it'll go something like this "And why exactly do you need more than 19 basses?"

First Priority: Rickenbacker 4003
2nd: Geddy Lee or Highway One Jazz
3rd: Lecompte Custom tied with Nash 62 style jazz
4th: Gibson EB3 or Peavey Grind 6 string.

I probably won't get any of them anytime soon though

Personally I think I've been very lucky and have owned my "I wish" basses. I've owned 3 different Alembic basses and my dream bass was a Stanley Clear Signature Alembic. Now I've moved on to what IMO are the most solid reliable basses ever made, Modulus Quantum basses. Soooooooo I THINK ... THINK I'm finally home. If I buy other basses it'll be "just because I want too" it won't be to get a BETTER bass. IMO You can't GET better then Alembic and Modulus. And I'm NOT into classic collector's items like very old Fenders so you'll never see those in my collection. Save those for the people who appreciate them!

I saw a guy in a Bon Jovi tribute band (don't let that put you off ;) ) using an identical bass, recently. It sounded awesome and I've been trying to get that thought out of my head for weeks (since I really don't want to buy more new basses).
