Every time I play mine I'm reminded how much I love it.

If it didn't have such a "distracting" appearance, I'd probably play it on gigs more than any of my other basses. The tone is THAT good. It's all about the tone, too. The shape is different and all, but it's the totally pure tone that makes it great. NOTHING else sounds like one.

But when you bring it out, the '80s jokes and the stares come ad nauseum. Kind of a hassle.

If they made a Bass VI or a Bass V reissue(that was affordable) I would hop right on them.

It seems that quite a few People want The Grabber and Ripper lines reissued. They are outstanding basses, but I just can't find one that isn't trashed. I think if they put them in the $600-800 range they would make a killing.
