Bassic 15 replacement speaker question

Hey TB, I have a quick question for the cab gurus: my Greenboy Bassic 15 is designed for and houses a Faital pro 15PR400 4 ohm driver, could I replace it with an 8 ohm 15PR400?
I know the ports are different depending if the cab was designed for the Eminence 3015 or the Faital, so I was wondering if there's equally a difference for 4 or 8 ohm. Just in case;)

there is some improved efficience with the 8 Ohm driver

I did not know that. I think the Mesa box is a little bigger (volume) than the GB box -- based on exterior dimensions.
I wonder how changes the sound.
I guess the Mesa ports are different too, and it has a tweet.

The Mesa cabs are about $200 more than a GB I guess.
I think the volume between the GB and the SW are similar. The GB is wider and slightly taller, the SW deeper.
