Bassist that has/had best backing vocal capabilities

Clips I've seen of Will Lee with his Fab Faux band indicate some talent in this area....everyone in that band seems able to sing!
Howie Epstein? He was great and according to Petty "the best harmony singer in the band". R.I.P. Howie
Macca and Cetera can surely sing awesome backing vocals. But they are more famous for their lead vocals.
My intention was to hear opinions about those bassists who are predominantly known for their superb backing vocals. For example, I dig Maurice Gibb as a bassist and harmony vocalist.

Will Lee is great. Thread hijack: You know the guy on the Bud commercials is Survivor's lead singer, right?
McCartney, Orr, and Nathan East's backup's and leads with Phil Collins were groovtastic. Mike Mills from R.E.M., although terribly annoying, fit their genre and style perfectly. Not even close to being a great singer, but it fit.
In the heavy rock genre, i'd say Nick Oliveri, he does some cool vocals with qotsa

Poor John Entwistle had such a range and then he just destroyed his high range over the years. He used to have a really nice falsetto in the early days- completely 100% gone by the 80s.
not to toot my own horn, but backgrounds are what keeps me working. i'm a good enough bass player, but i've gotten gigs over much better players because of my singing.
Thank you! He gets over looked as a backing vocalist because of all the lead singing he did, but nobody sang better/more difficult harmonies than Paul.
How about Brian Wilson?
+1 on the Fish and Will Lee. Also, the late, great T Bone Wolk with Hall & Oates and many others. R.I.P., bro....
