Not only that, but he has sung lead on TONS of commercials. He used to have a medley of commercials he sang on on his website, not sure if it's still there. Great vocals on the Hiram bullock album "Live at manny's car wash" as well. For some reason, even though I know it's not him, I picture him singing whenever I hear those real men of genius Budweiser commercials...
not to toot my own horn, but backgrounds are what keeps me working. i'm a good enough bass player, but i've gotten gigs over much better players because of my singing.
