Martin Turner from Wishbone Ash
Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple - he had a better voice than David Coverdale. Even Glenn has stated that he hit the higher notes that Coverdale couldn't reach.
John Wetton - King Crimson/Asia
Greg Lake - King Crimson/ELP
The Outfield (can't remember his name, but great voice)
Chris Squire - Yes (not lead singer, but he does an awful lot of vocal work)

Not as F&J, no.

BUT, F&J was originally known as "Dogz."

Jason sang and played bass for Dogz. Then Dogz got a new singer and changed their name to Flotsam and Jetsam, in the band Flotsam and Jetsam Jason solely concentrated on bass. (Although I think he still wrote lyrics).

Relman - I haven't heard any Entwistle side projects, I'm only familiar with his work with The Who, but thanks for pointing that out anyway.

Of the 10 songs on F&J's first cd(Doomsday for the Deceiver),Jason wrote lyrics for 6 songs,and co-wrote 3.

The only song he didnt write/co-write lyrics for was an instrumental.

John Deacon of Queen, but he never sang too much. In fact, of all the live albums of them I have, he's only pictured singing once, unlike Brian May and Roger Taylor, and of course, Freddie.

Jason Newsted sang alot with Metallica, although only on the choruses mostly. You can't hear him on most of the recordings, but he's singing in all the live videos I have, like Nothing Else Matters (live) and Master of Puppets (S&M Live).

Actually...cortrary to popular belief...Roger is not Less Than jake's lead singer. he does backing vocals on most songs, some lead bits of some songs, and all of "All My Best Friends Are Metalheads". do give him credit, rodger is a phenomenal bass player and a very good singer (cool high-pitched voice) but Chris Demakes is LTJ's guitarist/lead singer

Good call on Newsted and Dogz. With Flots he, as well as every member of the band did backing vocals.

With Metallica, he did all the backing vocals during concerts (Jaymz doubles and triples himself in recording), and occassionally did lead duties on Seek and Destroy, Whiplash, and Creeping Death. As well as We Are The Road Crew at Lemmy's big birthday bash.

Another bassist who sings leads very well is Bill Warren of Creeping Death Band (www.CreepingDeath.net) and Uprooted.
