My '99 R1100R that I bought new in '98. This shot is up in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, in July.

Off I-70 near Genesee, with my newly mounted Laminar Lip on the windscreen. The empty aluminum bracket on the windshield was for a vintage marine gyro compass. Worked great until it vibrated off at 105 mph. lol

That bike is a '98?! From the side view of the motor, I would have thought that was one of the more recent models. From this distance, it looks to be in great shape!

This is my BMW from a trip down to GA/NC/TN and back last month:

Lol. It pisses off the Air cooled diehards even more. It really does get the red headed stepchild treatment when I go to the dealership. So I figured I'd take it to the next level and strip as much of the "Harley" as possible off it.

I just bought a house, so my plans are to spend the first year working on it, and then either rebuilding a v8 muscle car, buying a super moto, or turbo the vrod. I've read too many accounts of people selling their vrods and regretting it, so I plan to keep it no matter what reroute I go.

I hear the Buells get even worse treatment. Bummer, too, 'cause the 1125 is a sweet machine. One of the best-handling stock bikes I've ridden.

My To Do list includes putting a turbo on my GSX-R1000. I think a nice, reliable 250HP on pump gas sounds just about right for a street bike. :D
