Ok, so my main basses are 2 Reggie Hamilton Jazz Basses. One with a Badass II and the other stock. The stock Reggie of coarse has a natural woody tone. They come with an 18V pre. I love both of these basses.
Now I have purchased a stock Jazz Bass V 24 that was built with the standard Basslines and a 9V pre. I want this bass to work with the other 2 and I have.
The stock Basslines are wound to 7.8k/8.2k
I also have a set of Quarter Pound Basslines 20.9k/22.9k and a set of Lindy Fralin 8k/8.5k
Any thoughts? (and yes I realize I should just try both of them, and I eventually will and report back)
