They have finally been released so, I can spill my guts! I sent the idea to eminence a year ago and guess what? They made it happen! I've been gigging them in a sealed 6x10 and vertical sealed 4x10 for awhile now. Videos to come soon. Anthony was just super to work with.

Looking forward to Clips Chris - honestly the mid and high response looks a bit peaky for my preference, and I'd like to see a higher Xlim, but it's great to see more options for sealed cabs. Eminence is a great company!

JGR, this obviously wasn't a designed from the ground up driver. I just suggested that eminence tweak a few things to make it work in a sealed cab. The frequency response is actually what I find to work well in a live environment. Not pretty like an old ampeg driver, but tight, punchy and mid forward. Basically leave the amp flat and turn up.

The 610 about 22" wide, 34" tall and 16" deep, 70lbs. The steel grill actually added some weight. Wish I would have done aluminum. The one for my diy vertical 410 was even thicker. Probably have videos in about 2 weeks. I'm really busy at home and also dealing with some new pa gear.

I'm curious about the 4x10. Dims, weight? The weird dim with vert 4x's is depth. At what point is "vertical" better with two cabs from a load in/hauling perspective? The old Peavey columns I did are easy to move, but in reality too shallow for 4 drivers to work their best. If it were big enough to be "right" there wouldn't be any benefit over 2 2x10 because it would be pretty big.

Do these drivers do well in smallish spaces?

I always find moving one cab is easier than 2. Even small cabs. I used it with a large amp at several loud gigs. You lose some floor coupling but, it sounded better around the room. Basically, the 6x10 is more like an nv610 tonewise than an ampeg 810. It goes a little lower and higher than the berg but is flatter in the lowmids (100-250hz) but, can be eq'd to sound very similar. A little less sensitive due to being higher ohms but, if you have a big amp, that won't matter. And, it's easy to build a cab at a total weight of 70lbs or less. Remember, mine has a heavy steel grill and a large inductor coil in it for low pass, .5 alignment.

They are just better in every way. I actually have a Weber 10fh for sale of anyone is interested. Good speaker but, I now have ten of these neos that sound great and weigh nothing so.....

The sc2010 is voiced to sound good from the start. Last night I played with The 6x10 pushed by my carvin B2000 set flat. Sounded great. I will have videos in a week or two. I'm working a lot and the gig schedule got really full all of a sudden.

I've been working and gigging a lot. After I get my last 2 batches of home brew bottled, I'll start planning some videos with these drivers. I'll probably be using a carvin b2000 and a rack rig using an ampeg svp-cl preamp. I'll probably directly compare the 610 with an nv610, barefaced retro 210 and barefaced super twin when it arrives.
