Bassswitch IQ DI????

Good evening all,

We still expect as announced previously to be able to start shipping around end of March 2011.

US citizens can pre-order at this stage from my friend Dan Lenard (www.luthiersaccessgroup.com)

Citizens from other countries should address directly to me.

Unfortunately the bad exchange rate will not allow us to maintain the announced street target price of 499 USD it will be 549 USD (sorry for that but we did what we could)

I hope not to have infringed any talkbass law with this mail.

Regards

Jacques

:hyper::hyper: I got mine today :hyper::hyper:

I will have a first rehearsal ("regular amp" situation) tonight.
Next Monday I'll have an "inear type" rehearsal.

I'll try to report my first impressions shortly.

I have been a beta tester of this pedal and I will try to focus on the improvements Jacques has been implementing since the beta unit I tested a few moths ago.

Here's a crappy phone pic of my inear board (not being usd tonight)

I just placed my order for bassswitch IQ. I will post my reviews when I get a chance to set it up with my gear. My set up is a Aguilar 659 preamp, Bergantino IP 112er/ HT112er, various pedals GR2, MXR, IBS, and a Fulltone FB3. I use a a sony wrt wireless set up. I play in a 70's funk band ala Tower, EWF and Chicago. This should be the missing link.
Im stoked

Just received my Basswitch today

First impression, wow.

Second impression:
Knobs were a little tricky as I tried to turn the completed knob. However I soon figured out that all I needed was a little finger tip pressure to move them around. Nice

Third impression:
Played it with my home setup and a Fender custom shop 5 string Jazz bass. Old strings, old batteries. the sound was fantastic. I started exploring the options and I can see why its a Swiss army knife. Everything is right there. I look at the unit as a Bass specific mixing board. Truly a command center as the ad describes.

I have a gig tomorrow and I will be using the BS. Gonna replace the strings and batteries right now and try it again. Wow great little case.

Opps forgot the pictures
