Double Bass Bassthings.com issues?

Anyone ever have any problems ordering from bassthings.com? I ordered something over a week ago and it still hasn't shipped (still says "awaiting fulfillment"). I've contacted them about it but haven't heard any response. Anyway, just wanted to check if anyone else has had similar issues ordering from them.

I'm having the same experience. Here is the most recent note that I have sent after 6 days of not hearing from them even though they have processed my credit card for an order:
"Hi,
I'm trying to understand how you work! You haven't responded to any of my notes or phone messages. You have charged my credit card but not told me when to expect delivery of what I ordered."

I don't get it. Have others had the same problem?

Well this is slightly concerning. Did you guys eventually get your stuff? I just placed an order there, nothing big thankfully, and just came across this in trying to find out more info about them like where they're based out of (NYC) which is oddly nowhere to be found on the site. They only seem to have a handful of posts on their Facebook and Twitter pages and the "Notable Bassist Inteviews" page looks a little off. Link Removed

I ordered one of those Concord pocket style bow cases since they are out of stock everywhere else I've looked. We'll see if they actually come through or if they'll also be backordered. The Gollihur site mentions something about a political dispute at the Concord manufacturing plant in China. I'll keep you posted.

Hey Brad,

If I can remember correctly, the delay in the delivery of my item was due to their being in the middle moving offices when I placed my order. They weren't very prompt with their replies to my inquiries, either, but they did apologize for being behind. I did eventually get my bass polish (it took quite a while, though.. my order was placed on 05/25 but didn't ship until 06/09), so who knows, maybe that was a one-time fluke and you'll be okay. That said, please do keep us posted with your experience.
