My Double 4 works fine with the Krisdonia 25000mah battery. the battery comes with a protective sleeve. I simply made a leather carrying strap to replace the metal one so the battery fits right in.

Battery powering a Phil Jones Double Four

I have only used it in my practice room for no more than a couple hours at a time. I’ve yet to run the battery down. I’m going to use it at a jam session soon. I’ll post the results after that.
I have the same battery and have used it in band practice (3+ hours) a couple of times, and in a short gig in a pretty large, echoey room. Our group has two amped guitars and a banjo, those three on vocals, plus me on bass. No drummer and probably overall not super loud. So far I've never seen the amount remaining go below 75%. I am really interested in hearing others experiences, too.
I've been using a Lenmar laptop battery for about 8 years, lasts at least 6 hours. i actually have a second in case I forget to charge the first one.

The European ones have been replaced with models that have the power brick removed and run directly off mains a while ago.

For those living in Europe where only the version without the DC input is available - it is quite easy to battery power it, as the only difference is it has the AC DC adapter (20 V, 3 A, 60 W) inside, the rest is identical. Just unscrew the amp board and attach the two DC power wires. No soldering required, spade crimp connector is used there.
I used a USB-C connector with power delivery trigger (I ordered this one from Aliexpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005065895690.html) as USB-C PD power banks are cheaper, smaller and more available these days.

The powerbank I use is Charmast 65W Power Bank 23800mAh ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]). It really can deliver 65 W, however the capacity seems to be overrated - when charging my laptop I got about 60 % efficiency.
I was able to run my PJ Double 4 for 6.5 hours with the master volume at half.
Any powerbank with a usb-c connector supporting Power Delivery with 20 V and 65 W will work (as it is standardized). Many power banks featuring power delivery support voltage only up to 9 V and 2 A (=18 W), so check this before buying .

Doing the same here with my Dewalt 20v battery, 3d printed my own battery shoe and this setup works great…
Since my last post to this thread, I made a couple changes to my PJD4 setup. First, I bought a second one from a seller here on TB, excellent condition. With that and a second Lenmar laptop battery, I decided to hook and loop them to bottom of the amps, which required extending the feet on the four corners. Then I got to thinking of using them together.
I got some feedback from TB members, and called Phil Jones and asked him if I can use Line Out on one, to Aux on the other. He said yes, that way the volume and EQ for both will be controlled by the first amp, and making 140 watts total. I also had to extend the feet of the first one to sit on top of the second on my On-Stage tripod amp stand. That's a Lekato 5.8GHz wireless receiver.

Any how it’s only lasting a couple of hours now so started researching for a new battery.
I was going to get a Krisdonia but then saw you can get an adapter to go on a power tool battery.

where did you get a power adapter for a power tool battery?
Just go to Amazon and type in Power Adaptor (tool maker) and you should find plenty pre-made ones. You'll then just need the proper tip to attach to the D4.
