I'm thankful to have lived in a time with such a great man as Mr King. He was an inspiration to many as a musician and a MAN. Thank you Mr King for ALL you've contributed to this World.

BB King is a TRUE American Icon!

It's sad when you hear about the death of a legend. It's a somber experience.

    May he rest in peace.

What's nice is that he got to do what he loved right up until the end.

Sad. The BB shows I saw in the 80/90's were some of the best concerts I've ever seen. Always had a killin band and BB was the icing on the cake.

  16. Live at the Regal is a master's course in blues. There will never be another like him.

RIP. Glad I got to hear him once, at the Garden State Arts Center in NJ, a long time ago.

There are some clips of BB from the 70's positively tearing it up. Kind of before he became the elder statesman of the blues (which was cool too) and just played his signature stuff.

I like the recent-ish clip of he and John Mayer just sitting there watching Derek Trucks play, where BB can't handle how good he is...BB was the man.

Another pillar on the bridge to the past falls, Lucille will miss you and we will remember you. RIP
