if you've never seen it before, here's some pics of the very first mockingbird bass (completed in January of 1976, maple body w/rosewood stringers with ebony board, Hi-A pickups, grover keys, with original prototype badass bridge):

I got the BC Rich one and although it fits...it is very cheaply made. The plastic is very thin and brittle. Kind of a bummer because it was $120!Is there a decent after market case that fits the Mockingbird or should I just spring for the BC Rich one? hard-shell not a bag!!
Thinking I'll just get the BC Rich case! I've heard the coffin cases fit but how well??
Saw old posts (not sure if it was here or not) for a "Heads up Strap" but looks like they may be out of business? Strap w/ pockets for weights. When I let go of the neck on this thing it heads towards the floor!!!
