Bead bending headstock!?

Hello.

I've played a Fernandes jazzbass in BEAD for some years now, and I THINK... that while the neck is still perfect, the headstock is starting to bend forward!:help:

...I can't recall the original angle of it..
After the carved bend right after the nut, the headstock continues in a straight line with the neck, IF not slightly bent forward...

Anyone with any experience, and/or expertise on this kinda happening???

ofcourse, if it was a straight line to begin with, the bend is very slight, and could go back if I loosen the strings and leave it as a back-up??

well...there is usually less tension on a neck that is tuned to BEAD, of course, depending on the guage of string...most jazz basses have a headstock that is parallel to the neck, but back a little farther...generally, that's why there is a string retainer so there's a little bit of a break angle over the nut...
