I need those tiny little things because they are all I can afford for a spare amp and I don't have a huge room. I'm sure others can relate.

Sure I can understand, you guys who are being serious here regarding little amps just think I'm a boob, but in all seriousness I've already been there.

You know what I used for my "little amp" when I was a youngster and didn't have a lot of money? I lugged my gigging amp home, hauled it up to my room (tri-level home so two staircases) and played it there, or when the practice space was at my house, down a flight and into the basement.

Honestly? The last year... Yeah I think that's right, only the last year have I had more than one amp to my name.

More than one is a luxury. Now true I'm basking in that luxury right now... BUT I still believe more than one is just luxury.

Line 6 studio 110! Sounds great right out of the box with any bass. Maybe more than you want but I love mine.

ive been using a crate guitar amp in my bedroom lately.

its actually a good idea, in a way. it doesent bother anyone else in/around the house, guitar amps have no lows, dont rattle anything.

but, it doesent have any tone really.

Although it's a bit pricey, the Markbass Micromark (1x6) is an excellent little amp. It weighs next to nothing and sounds louder and deeper than it should be able, based on its size...

The 10 watt Acoustic combo is an excellent amp, I own it, and it is the best 100 bucks I've ever spent!

Genz Benz ShuttleMax 12 and Uber 212 is my bedroom setup. I realize this isn't what your looking for, but in all seriousness the Genz Benz amps have a top quality headphone out and the ShuttleMax series (not sure about the regular Shuttles) have an auxillary input so you can run a mp3 player or drum machine straight in and have a great practice amp. Plus the amp has enough power to handle just about any gig and it's super portable.

I also recently just picked up a Line6 UX1 to record directly to my computer and it works the same way. It gives an excellent sound through headphones plus you get the ability to record and have built in effects. Of course this option would only work if you have a computer in the room too.

I'll +1 that, great little amp.

If I ever need a tiny amp, I'll be getting one of those.
