Bee Bass owners club

Awesome bass, Jonki. You should post some sound clips of it. :D

Anybody else heard anything lately? I got an email from Petra last week saying that Fred was really busy, but was going to answer emails soon...

I'm in.

Here's my 6 string single-cut Queen Bee that's been my main bass for 5 years.

Trying to! But I need a jack adapter from my preamp to my pc, hehe :)

Whappo, geez! What an awesome bass! I normally dont like singlecuts, but that bass is sooo cool! :)

im a noob to the board, heres my bass that fred made for me last year. 6 string queen, ziricote top/back, butternut body, macasar ebony fretboard. i think its one of the last queens he made cause he took the design off his site. the bass is unbelievable, and the price was nowhere near as bad as 95% of custom stuff i look at.

Several months ago I had stumbled upon a wad of cash. I was looking for something special to spend it on.

Just on a whim, I googled, Bee fretless bass, and a talkbass classified add cought my eye.

The rest is history. This bass is the funnest bass in the world to play.

Hey whats up Anderson,

That amazing fretless was built for my good friend Andres Cervantes. I dont know if you got a deal on it, but i know you got one hell of a bass. Thos Star knobs werent part of the original bass, right? hehe. Anyway, congratulations bro!:bassist:

Beautiful bass, and welcome to TB. I love that Ziricote top. Do you happen have a pic of the back?

Fred is still building neck-through Workers (i.e., Queens) for a $400 up-charge, which is a great deal, especially considering that companies like F-Bass want around three times that amount, if they're even willing to do the work.

I calling them tommorow. That bass is awesome

I'd love to myself... they have Lay-away, but I doubt it's for consignment stuff so I'm out of the running.

Here are the specs:
swamp ash body with an Okume' top.
neck is wenge w/ a purpleheart center stringer.
headstock is ash w/ matching Okume' top.
The fretboard is acrylized bloodwood.
It's a set neck "Worker Bee" with the "Knee Bee" lower horn.
The controls are: Master Volume, passive tone, pickup blend.
There is a three band active EQ (Bee Pre).

DO IT!!! DO IT NOOOUUUUWWWW!!!! Ha ha ha ha! That's my 4 string that I consigned at Bass Emporium. It's a little monster! I hope that it serves whoever it goes to well. If anyone here has ?'s about the bass, feel free to ask. I might not get to the forum as often as my e-mail....so, just e-mail me. [email protected]
I hate to sell the thing. I just wasn't playing it as often as I needed to be in order to justify keeping it around. Money is tight, too. There's a shocker!:)
