Beer!!!!!

I decided on no more bottles and got a kegerator. So far I've had kegs of Spaten, Hofbrau, Fosters, Heineken, Karl Strauss Oktoberfest (lousy), Paulaner, and right now I'm working on a keg of Beck's. Most of these tasted FAR BETTER than their bottled versions, especially the Fosters..

Y'know, that's true!! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Fosters we get in the USA is actually made in Canada....I'm tellin ya, I'm no fan of canned or bottled Foster's either, but the guy at the store said it tastes a lot better from the keg, and that dude was RIGHT...WAY BETTER!! With all my friends coming over, that keg lasted less than 3 weeks!

That keg of Hofbrau was also killer. Right from the good ole Hofbrauhaus in Germany....but it also runs about $165 for a
13 gallon keg..

Even the Heineken tasted much better, and different too. Smoother, not skunky at all, a bit "lighter" (if that makes sense), with a more pleasant finish and less aftertaste...

I had a Paulaner on tap not too long ago and unfortunately I can't remember the rest of it's name. It was a good wheat beer and tasted great with a slice of orange in it. Anyone?

I've found it here in the states. Finally. My favorite Japanese beer. It has arrived. Although this was a three dollar bottle. It was worth it.
