Well, thanks to Keith Taber of Goleta, CA, I now have a Bass V-Amp Pro with an FBC1010 midi pedal board! I found the pair on CraigsList, and Keith packed them very well for the trip. They were used for a studio session several years ago, and then packed away with the protective tape still on their displays. I'm looking forward to getting started tomorrow on learning.
However, I first wanted to answer a request which I read earlier in this thread -- someone wanted a scan of the block diagram on top of the V-Amp Pro. My scanner had to do it in two sections, which I reassembled. That's why there is a join line, and the slightly different coloration and focus.
