Adequate for the price, sure. But far, far, far from high end.

IMO They have been good.

Our school changed our sound room to all behringer for cost reasons. Our sound tech has had nothing but good words to say about it. That was 2 years ago. When I was considering buying a behringer amp early this year, i asked him of his opinion and he still says behringer prof. audio technology is very good.

"Good" relative to what? The old equipment he used to have in the school A/V department, with a minimal budget, a bunch of WWII film projectors and worn-out components that have been abused by generations of students?

I'm honestly not "just bashing" Behr here; I completely agree that some of their gear sounds good for the price. But please don't mistake "good for the price" or "good compared to a bunch of old broken stuff" for "very high end".

Well, I'd assume Behringer must at least make decent gear. Hell, they only copy the best! :scowl:

lol the BBE is already cheap in price. I don't see people not springing an extra few dollars for the Behringer.

The only funny thing about this is the name.

I am picking up a mint used BBE Sonic Maximizer tomorrow. It is the low end one... 363??? 3 series anyways. $75.00 tax in from Craigslist.

Why buy anything but the original?

I can see buying a $50 Chanel knockoff purse (my wife can't!) over a $2000 real one, but to save almost nothing or pay more? Sillyness!
