Back together. Not perfect, but perfectly usable!
Fine job! That looks great, for some reason that color works really well with the maple neck.
And the black pickguard sets off the blocks really well.
Now you know why people like spray booths.
I never imagined the pros would be they would protect from Squatch hairs, but sure.
I bet you're already thinking about another project aren't you?

So update on the build
I’ve long wanted to make my own bass. Turns out what I want is a poor mans Fano
ordered parts today:
Mahogony Jaguar body
I may overlay it with some maple I already have
Aerodyne Jazz neck, plus fresh tuners and bridge in chrome
Currently musing over the pickups. Leaning towards some Tbird chrome repops.
Any other ideas, suggestions for the pickups? I want to stay passive, preferably something not-Jazz bass as I already have 3x of those. Considered double single coil P, or even like a blacktop Jazz

We ran this car as a G or H Stock Automatic car in NHRA Stock Eliminator 2002-2006.
At the time, running a “255 hp” engine per spec (original heads, intake, carb) and ran high 11s in Denver
Mud tires don’t fit, and we had to do the baseball bat trick to fit the 10” wide slick
After we stopped racing, we pulled that engine, trans, and spooled 5.13s from the rear for GM crate engine, TH700r4 and some 4.10s on an Eaton posi

Last handful before reverting back on topic
Still has a lot of racecar parts, including the custom built headers, roll cage, Cal Trac ladder bars (had to use stock suspension, bolt on only) and rev limiters. New engine is 385hp/405lb-ft. Pretty mild due to roller cam

Spent most of our time in DIV 5 & 7 out west here. I think we hit 13 states during that time.That's awesome. Also, grats on the Wally!

As you can see after sanding, there’s a noticeable step on the seem, again on the front side mostly from the butt end up towards the controls (from the tone control knob coming back)
With those two and then 8 years worth of scratches on the back, decided I would just start over. Currently scuffing the poly to do an overshoot in blue
