Bergantino AE212 - Just Released

I have a comparison clip of the AE410 and the AE212 on my Youtube site, and do a bit of EQing to get them somewhat close to each other. A touch of smoothing in the upper mids and a little deep bass boost moves the AE410 toward the AE212. Both sound great to me.
One could be a heretic like me and run AE112 and AE210 together. Kind of a mutant offspring if the 410 and 212 got a little too chummy one night after cocktails.
I have a question that is actually specific to the AE210, not the 212, but I'm trying to get as many perspectives on this as I can and I figure you folks might be ablt to help. I've been using an Eden 210 XLT with an Ampeg SVT III Pro. I love the sound of this combo but I'm sick of the weight of the Eden cabinets. I've been looking at the Berg AE210 but they seem to only be available in 8 ohms. Here's the thing: my Ampeg puts out 270 watts at 8 ohms and the AE210 is rated at 400 watts. It would seem to me that my amp would "underpower" this particular cabinet. Any thoughts?
So how's that been workin out? I've been using an Epi UL112, and its been sounding surprisingly good. The AE112 might even be a better fit, although the UL112 has some bottom to it and not too much in the mids.
I used to own a 210xlt. I was never a fan of the tone, but I really hated the weight. My first Epifani UL210 smoked it in every possible way.....except! The Eden was efficient. I used my AE210 for a minute with my old GK800rb. With the mid scoop in, it sounded great and had good volume. Maybe as much as the xlt. I think the 800rb is about 225 watts @ ohms. The AE210 is a much better sounding box. IMHO
Works well but I don't have a pair of 210s to compare it to. I like it a lot better than a pair of 112s as I'm not really into that sound - I like a bit more mid punch than the 12s seem to have.

Checked out an AE212 for a short time today, EA head and Sadowsky Metro V. The low end just plain shocked me. That cabinet is too small to sound that huge. Based on my first visual impression, I would have assumed the AE410 or a UL410 would stomp on it. If I did not already have a decent 410, I would buy this in a heartbeat and actually pay retail

Thanks! The bottom is pretty big, but it can be toned down if necessary. The slap sound with my Sadowsky NYC J5 is pretty startling! And it's really easy to move, too. What a great time to be a bass player!

Has anyone gigged the RH450 with the AE212? I owned the RH450 with a Berg HT/EX112ER stack. Sounded great at home but didn't work on gigs for me.
I have not since I'm not particularly impressed with the RH450 and either of those cabs in my 'at home' tests (clips on Youtube). The RH450 kills with the more aggressive AE410 though (and I've gigged that many times with my Sadowsky), but I find almost any other head sounds better with the AE212 and ER than the RH450 (for my tone goals anyway).
The RH450 sounds VERY good with the TC cabs though... REALLY like the RH450/RS210 combination for smaller gigs.

In looking at the amps in your profile, and this photo, I was curious about your thoughts on the cab in terms of tube vs. solid state/hybrid. Have you had a chance to do much in the way of A/B comparisons?
