Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

I received my new rig yesterday. B|amp and a REF112. I'll be sharing my thoughts as soon as I get to spend a little more time with it. As of now, all I can say is wow! I want to give a shout out to Jim (Bergantino) and Greg at RocketMusic for answering any and all questions that I've had. And thanks to all who are a part of this and the club Bergantino thread. So much knowledge being shared. Cheers!

When I bought my new B|amp and REF cabs a couple weeks ago, I registered them online as one would normally do. I received an email from Bergantino a couple days later that I didn't read particularly well and simply filed it. I thought it was just confirmation of my registration. I went back yesterday and read the email again and (of course) it contained not only my confirmation but the Version 3.2 update.

I went through the process of installing it (which took about 3 minutes total) and am even more impressed than I was before.

What an incredible piece of equipment. You've got to love a piece of gear that continues to improve and become refined as you own it. Crazy.

Thanks to all who helped develop this update. Amazing.

This is the epitome of the B|Amp! Well said!

I haven't been able to find too many clips of a B Amp in action so here's a video with one sort of in the mix (cover) for anyone looking at maybe getting one. My strings are super dead, but I'd play this song with flats anyway if I had the choice so didn't bother changing them, I think it sounds alright!

My signal chain is Sandberg VM2 > Basswitch Sonic Spark > B Amp > DI to Audient iD14.

Sorry for the poor playing, particularly around the middle :rollno:

I've been checking out those Sandbergs online. They're so sweet, I thought they played themselves! :) Seriously, nice playing, and great tone for that song!

Thanks Joe!

Also does anyone know where I might be able to get a B Amp case in Australia? Seems the website only ships to the US and I haven't seen them anywhere else :(
I'd be willing to sell you my unused B|Amp case for my actual cost. Before I got Jim's bag, I had StudioSlips make a custom bag for my B|Amp. Both are great, but I only need one of them. Let me know if you're interested.

Tried BASS GEAR DIRECT. COM ?
I've had a look, they have a bag for the Genzler but not the Berg. Maybe I'll send them a message, if anyone can get me one it's probably them!

No worries! Will send you a message if I need to do that, cheers.

Does anyone know if the new firmware has a profile for the NV212T?

Hi - The firmware and the speaker profiles and independent pieces of software. The current firmware is v3.2 and you will need to register your B|Amp (whether you bought it new or used) at Invalid Link Removed so you can be notified of and receive firmware updates. All of the speaker profiles (including the NV212T) are located at Invalid Link Removed and can be downloaded at any time. Thanks! John

BassGearDirect.com has them on the way. They should have plenty soon, so check with them.
