Thanks for the info! My wish for a power option is just due to my tendency to idiot-proof my gear from myself...no batteries + power supply input = even I can't screw it up (usually).

That kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless pedal, doesn't it?

Not necessarily. Having the option of a power supply input gives a choice between batteries or power supply. The pedal still operates the amp via Bluetooth and is wireless, it's just a matter of how the user wants it integrated in their rig. It did just occur to me though that in it's battery-operated form it's likely going to be remarkably easy to add or remove from pedalboard situations (no extra power cables to route or remove for it).

Possibly, it could be nicer with an internal recharge capability, like a phone or something. But, there are trade offs. I suspect Jim went with the simplest approach here.

I'd bet you hit the nail on the head here. Bluetooth would likely appeal to most of those using and interested in the B Amp, and is definitely a major feature that sets his products apart from the competition.
