Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

I'm curious about the dongle that plugs into the B|Amp. I would love it if there was a way to store it in the pedal itself. It's the kind of thing that could be easily lost. I also hope that it is tiny so it doesn't protrude and is prone to breakage.
You could apply a piece of tape over it to secure it in place. As far as it protruding out, I would not think it would come out further than the knobs.

Any body have an idea of a shipping date for the pedal?
We are just about there. Sorry for the delay. I was just informed today that the pedals should be shipping out by mid to end of next week to us, which means we should be shipping the following week. Appreciate everyone's patience with this!

when will the pedal be available to buy? I tried to get one a while back but it showed out of stock on the website

We stopped taking pre-orders for the pedals once we found out there was going to be a delay. Once they're on their way to us , we will again allow customers to place their orders, which should be around mid next week. Just want to make sure everything's on schedule!

There will also be a new firmware release for the pedal, newer than 4.0, and it should be emailed to all registered B|AMP owners sometime next week. It's important for any pedal users to install the new firmware before using the pedal. There are no new features (sorry to disappoint! ;-} ) , this contains mostly a Blue Tooth update and possibly some "window dressing". Also, all Pedals and Dongles will come "Paired" from us. Should be just a plug and play experience

Here's a picture of the B|AMP with a dongle plugged into its USB port, as well as another dongle for reference purposes. I would suggest just leaving the dongle plugged into the amp if you're planning on using the pedal. It's a snug fit, similar to a mouse dongle plugged into a laptop or desktop.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but does the footswitch change immediately from one patch to the next? As in can I use it to drop FX in and out during a song without an awkward 1 second silence?

Switching between Mem1, Mem2, and the home screen are pretty much instantaneous (there is a very fast ducker circuit, couple msec, implemented between patch changes to avoid any unwanted pops or clicks) while switching in and out the new Mem3 will take about 1.2 seconds as will Mute (requires pressing the left or right pedal and holding for 1.2 seconds). We suggest in the instructions to use Mem1 and Mem2 for patches you want to switch on the fly and Mem3 for patches that are more to the effect of something you would switch between songs or bass changes, for example. Essentially you will have 4 scenes to choose from, including the home screen, 3 of which you can quickly toggle between. So, for example, from the home screen you can push the left pedal and go quickly from the home screen to Mem1 then to Mem2 (if you push the right pedal) or back to the home screen if you push the left pedal again, etc. Same as it works currently on the amp except the switching is now with your foot via the Bluetooth pedal.
