Another vote for the 2x10 and 1x12 combo in whatever version you pick.. They compliment each other very well and you can take either cab for whatever smaller gig requirements that may come along...

Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

Decided on the B/Amp for sure but how the hell do you choose between the Refs and the HDN's? Not THAT big a weight difference. Is there a considerable sonic difference? Paralyzed by over-analysis here.
I just ordered an HDN210 & HDN112 plus covers from Greg. I was doing the over analyzing thing too, and it came down to weight and the green Bergantino logos on the cabs matching the green lettering on my B Amp. Yes, I'm trivial like that.
If you have half the great pleasure I (and, modestly said) my audiences have had listening to that pair, you will be a very happy man. Congrats!
Pedal and bag arrived this week. Now I'm just waiting on cabs.
In the meantime, I'm hoping to get my B Amp updated to the most current firmware. I registered it, and have sent an email to Jim, so hopefully I'll get it soon and can get all that stuff done.
Also, I had no idea how compact that pedal is! I was definitely surprised when I received it.

I finally had a chance to use all 3 channels at last nights gig and they all worked great.. Channel 1 is clean with compression, Channel 2 is O/D with compression and Channel 3 is Distortion 1 with compression... I mainly switch between 1 and 2 depending on the song and I like to use 3 with the octave pedal for a nice synth type sound...

Yep, that's a great set-up for channels for tons of variety.
I'm playing a solo thing on Christmas, so I'll have my standard light EQ with a bit of OD on the first channel, and a no-OD bright, very forward channel for the solo piece. Lots of choices in this box.

In the meantime, I've been playing around at home with my B Amp through my Genzler MG212T.
I'm *seriously* impressed with what this thing can do, and with how crystal clear every single note comes through. I've heard the phrase "it's like taking a blanket off of my speaker cab" be tossed around. I'd have to agree fully!! But yet, playing around with the eq, a little drive, and VRC, and it's as warm and full as I'd ever want.
I was VERY worried that this thing would be crazy complicated to figure out and use. Boy was I wrong. A few minutes with the manual (and on this thread) and I was off and running, with no issues whatsoever. I've gotta give big props to Jim Bergantino for making an amp that has so many (extremely usable) features but is so user-friendly.
Can't wait to get my new cabs tomorrow. Two gigs this weekend should be a pretty good trial run.

My cabs arrived an hour AFTER I left for last night's gig, so I had to use my Genzler MG212T last night (which the B Amp still killed through)....

Just as well, they need a little time to wear in anyway. I remember when I first got my CN212. Sounded great out of the box, but so much nicer after a week or two.
