Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

Clarity. That's where this rig really outshines anything I've ever played through before. Every single note comes through so perfectly clear, without having to be obnoxiously loud on stage, that even my lead guitar player commented a few times last night on how it's the best he's ever been able to hear me on stage.
I loved my Genzler rig. If I had kept it, I'd have been perfectly happy playing through that setup for the rest of my days. Jeff makes great equipment, that has served me very well. Just wanted to throw that out there...
However, this B|Amp/HDN210/HDN112 rig takes things to a whole different level. It's such a well-balanced mix of everything I love in my bass sound-clarity, punch, deep clear low end, and pristine highs, I had a hard time wiping the smile off my face. I know I'm in my honeymoon phase right now, but all night I had that "why did I wait this long to make the switch to Bergantino gear" thought running through my head.
I'm pretty sure my honeymoon phase has lasted almost two years now!
I have a feeling mine is going to last quite a while as well!

I had some time to do some A/B'ing between the onboard distortions, Overdrive, and compressor, against my favorite pedals yesterday.
4 pedals are now eliminated from my pedalboard-Darkglass B3K, EHX Big Muff and Bass Soulfood, and Keeley Bassist are now for sale.
Really neatened up my board.
Also, it seems like my other effects sound SO MUCH clearer through the B Amp/HDN322 setup. Maybe it's just me, but I think the filters and especially the chorus sound absolutely amazing through this rig.

I'd sure like to see Jim change the wireless pedal color scheme to match the B|Amp...black frame, with the foot area insert the B|Amp fluorescent green (maybe a highly reflective version for low stage light)...?

Thinning the pedals here too; I've got my B|amp and my Tech 21 BFR for playing direct. Thinking about trying the B|amp as a preamp for IEM gigs.
How about just sell me the (Bergantino) dongle and set it up for use with any of the Airturn pedals. That way I can use which one suits me best.
The STOMP6 would certainly provide options. And it's black.
The effects are great. I don't have enough confidence in that pedal to use it on the gig. No indicator light; and the contact switches have no feedback; so, I have no idea where the thing is at without turning around. It's a cute idea; but, I can't use it on the gig.

Now. ..I haven't had a lot of time to mess with eq's ... so any hints here would be muchly appreciated.
It's the busy season. .. 4 gigs a week plus my day job. ..
So far am finding the Dist.1 and 2 to have nice AMOUNTS of dirt, but they're a bit raspy or brash...??? sounding. When my Super Bassman goes into drive, it's a smoother tone while still being plenty dirty. . So. .. I'm trying to get similar.
The OD -1st one- is cool but, as I said, am after just as much distortion but a sorta smoother tone.
I know I'd have to mess with the eq's but. ..hey. .this is the B|Amp. .. there's a ton of landscaping available in there. .. hoping someone else has some good suggestions

It's more of a hard clip distortion rather than the soft clip coming from your SB300. It's going to be a little difficult getting them to sound the same but by attenuating some high mids and highs and boosting a tad in the upper bass/low mid region may help.
Try dialing up around 3k hz and cutting some db's. Also, maybe cut a little at 1k. Boost some at 100 hz and 250 hz. Run the distortion on a lower number as well....under, say... 5 and compensate as needed with the volume on the drive.
As you mentioned, if you're after the soft clip purr, then the OD circuit is going to be your best bet.
Is anyone able to post clips of the OD and Distortion effects on the B/Amp? Would really love to hear the B/Amp with some color dialed in as opposed to pristine clean reproduction.
