I just picked one of these up and wow, I am blown away. This is my first sealed cab and I can. not. wait. to get it out on a gig sometime soon.
I've recently been gigging an EA Doubler 2 and am really impressed with how it sounded, not only cranked up but at lower volumes - it does "quiet" surprisingly well. I want to experiment with some new amps and am going for a 'tubier' type sound. Here's what I'm thinking:
Aguilar DB751 - an endgame amp with an incredible reputation. I have no doubt that I'd love it but I worry that the weight would get old fast. Yes, I realize the NV212T weighs 70 lbs and that I'm a hypocrite for suggesting this.

I also worry that it would simply be too much amp for me most of the time. Loud is good and great when playing outdoors, but quiet is a necessity sometimes for the work I do. These days it's primarily corporate/wedding type gigs.
Aguilar TH700 - A lot of folks in the Aggie camp seem to rave about the TH heads. At 1/8 of the weight of the DB, it seems like a more practical choice. I worry, though, that I will regret never having tried the DB751.
Mesa W/D800/+ - I briefly had a WD800 but took it back to the store after a couple of gigs. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't give it enough of a chance. The Subway heads could be a whole different experience with this cab.
What say you? And what else should be on my list?
