Hot damn! Please let us know when you hear more about this - I would be first in line to get one, especially if it's light and compact like his HT112 was. Also, if he ever makes a 1x8, I want to be first on the sign-up list. I loves me my VL108, and have been trying without success to find another for over a year now.

Possible good news for DBers regarding Bergantino .
Jim is working on a 2x8 proto-type cabinet for DBers and is trying to get more of a "acoustic" quality to the cab. Last conversation was to check back with him in about a month from now. I am keeping my fingers crossed,hoping he nails it.

I use a Bergantino EX112 and/or HT210 depending on the gig. I'm sold for life on these cabs. If he makes a 2-8", I'll take it without even hearing it. I've never heard a tighter sounding low end. No mud at all.

I emailed him and asked if he was ever going to make something smaller like a 1-10" or 2-8" about a month ago. He didn't say anything about his plans at the time. I hope this comes out soon.

Unfortunately, it sounds like he is focusing on other products right now. But you know the story, if a builder has reason to believe that his product will be purchased, he is more likely to make it! I would suggest that anyone seriously interested in a 2x8 from Bergantino should contact Jim and let him know. If nothing else, you will have a very pleasant and very enlightening conversation!

Thanks for the info. I loved my SWR Baby Blue with 2-8"s, but it just didn't have enough head room. Those Berg's are great, but I had been wishing for him to make a 2-8" since I bought mine. Thanks again for the info.
