Best amp you played through

A Vanderkley Aurora. It was at Gelb Music in San Francisco a few years ago. It was amazing but since I couldn't afford it, I went with the next best thing...

I got to Listen/ compare Markbass 800,Vt 500,Ashdown500,and a '70's Ampeg V4 (guitar!) heads through a 410 Bergantino cab a few weeks ago,the Ampeg was by far the best sounding head. If i had roadies, that's what I'd use!
Coming up soon,a chance to hear a Demeter 800w power head that a friend swears sounds even better than the Ampeg.

In the spirit of the other thread where people listed their worst amps, I'd now like to switch gears and have everyone list the BEST amp they ever played through. If this thread gets over 10 pages, I'll again tabulate the results and post them up.

I'm going to throw my own vote in there for a TC Electronic BG250 combo. I have no complaints about the thing years after buying it.

GO!
My best all around had to be an SWR SM-400 head on top of a Marshall Silver Jubilee 1540 cabinet. Replaced it with a 500W Carvin setup while stationed in Germany. Had a Kustom 200 sitting on top of a Kustom 2x15" which worked great in the pubs there as well. Currently I'm really liking this Carvin BX1600 on top of a BRX10.2 and BRX15.3 cabinets. Working very well, very quiet, and a lot of room. Will say, comes with a price of weight.

Really loving my Mesa Bass Prodigy at the moment.

Coming from a Trace Elliot RAH600SMX with built in compression I had to learn to play properly again though, the tube amp is much more responsive and I turned out to have become a lazy player.
