More drivers = more volume![]()

Ya, that's what I said. Then I heard one. Now I have two. Total cross between the deep lows of the 70's B-15 cabs and the fat upper mids and highs of the early B-15 cabs. The tweeter is actually usable, too.The more people talk about those the more I want to hear one, the pf115 that is. Not like I don't have enough 15's right now![]()

You could look at it this way the mods are 40 bucks each on us speaker .com so for 80 bucks why not try it .
True. I thought they were like 80ea. For 40 I might just go with it . What slot did you put them in? Does that make a difference? Psyched to get this thing going.. The speakers in there now are 32 ohm correct?
I want to see how the refinish turned out. I'd love to rhino line my '72. How much work was it? Where did you do it? Any advice?
As far as getting a sound you like with the cab, try this trick someone around here uses! Set your amp volume to taste with the bass knob all the way rolled down and bring it back up just until you get some fluff dialed underneath your sound.
I never found the 810E to be boomy, just a bit muffled. Well, unless my brother got at the bass knob on my 1001RB-II. Then it got boomy.
