When I lived in NY, I went from the band Just Great to Nothin' Fancy to Better Days....odd

"Me First and the Gimmee-Gimmees" They put out CD's doing speed metal covers of 60's folk, surfer tunes, and Broadway shows. (Imagine "Blowin' In The Wind" at 200 BPM, complete with chainsaw guitars. Delightfully bizarre.)

"Phil DeVoid" Excellent house band at The Blue Goose in St. Clare Shores (Near Detroit).
