I like the Road Runner polyfoam cases. Got mine on sale for 59 bucks and has been great. I also have one for my acoustic guitar and that has been all over the planet and still holding up nicely.

Agreed.
My son recently bought an SX jazz bass and a hard case through Rondo. I was impressed with the quality of the case, especially for around $50.
