Bass world can anyone tell me whats the best bass between a American Fender jazz deluxe and a FBASS. Bing used for Jazz and Funk?

Either way I'd go with an F bass,just because of the superior build quality,and tone.

Get a Fender Jazz Bass and a black and a gold sharpie and copying the Fender script write & Funk after the word Jazz on the headstock. There ya go!
A bass with a good set of flats on it...
But what are the best flats and should I tune them slightly sharp so they're not as flat when I play?
There is no "best".
"Best" for me may be radically different than "best" for you.
Both basses mentioned would work just fine. Try them out (if possible) and see which one feels and sounds "right" to you.

Judging from my OWN personal experience over several many American Fender jazz deluxe basses and 3 F-Basses, my vote goes to F-basses based on craftsmanship and, most important, TONE. I call the F-bass a "modern vintage" because it nails the J tone and then some
Either of those should be great. 
The Fender is their modern version of the original.

Doesn't matter - both basses names start with "F."

Would be nice if there was a filter for comments like these too, maybe technology will allow that without using the ingore feature one day. In the year 2000...
